DELIVERY - accurate advice updated daily

  • Delivery is normally within 2 weeks
  • Delivery may be up to a week longer in remote areas e.g. North Wales
  • Our garden shed prices include all delivery charges - unlike others we do not add delivery charges during the checkout process
  • Advance notice by phone a day or two before

SPECIALIST DELIVERY SERVICE:- These garden sheds are normally delivered by specialist trained staff in dedicated vehicles. This ensures less damage. Most cheaper garden sheds are delivered by national carriers who normally deliver to the kerbside only and cause more damage. Their prices are based on weight and panel sizes. As a result, garden sheds delivered by outside carriers are made in small and flimsy lightweight sections with less wood. The benefits of our specialist delivery service include less damage, larger more rigid panels and heavier construction. Delivery is to the kerbside only but if the sections are less than 25kg or if there is somebody present to help the driver will normally carry your garden shed to your chosen storage place.

SPECIFICATIONS & STANDARD FEATURES - included in the price

  • These sheds include immersion treatment in light brown preservative as standard
  • Traditional construction in large rigid panels, which ensures a neater appearance, greater strength and easier assembly than other budget priced DIY sheds
  • Windows glazed with glass (no plastic, acrylic, perspex or styrene)
  • Substantial ex 2" planed deal wall framework (finished size 45mm x 28mm after machining)
  • 12mm deal tongued and grooved shiplap wall cladding (finished size after machining)
  • Substantial ex 2" planed deal floor joists (finished size 45mm x 28mm after machining)
  • 12mm deal tongued and grooved floor boards (finished size after machining)
  • Substantial ex 2" planed deal roof purlins (finished size 45mm x 28mm after machining)
  • 12mm deal tongued and grooved roof boards (finished size after machining)
  • No chipboard, plywood, OSB or other man made boards or sheet materials
  • Green mineral felted roof
  • Key locking doors with horizontal ledges and diagonal braces
  • Door on the right when viewed from outside
  • Window on the left when viewed from outside
  • Door hinges on the right when viewed from outside
  • Single hinged door 2'7" wide x 5'7" high (785mm x 1693mm)
  • Internal height at the front 6'7" (2011mm) at the lowest point inside
  • Internal height at the rear 6'0" (1819mm) at the lowest point inside

TONGUED & GROOVED FLOOR & ROOF - NO MAN MADE BOARDS: The floor and roof feature 12mm thick tongued and grooved boards with 2" thick framing. This is stronger and longer lasting than cheaper sheds with man made boards used in the floor and roof. Man made boards are often only 7mm thick and do not last as long in damp conditions. Floors made with man made boards are normally too flimsy even for light use. The man made boards commonly used in cheaper sheds include chipboard and OSB or oriented strand board. These are often described as a "sheet floor" or a "solid board floor" which is deliberately misleading.

GLASS WINDOWS - NO STYRENE OR PERSPEX: The windows feature horticultural glass as standard. This is more rigid than the plastic glazing used in many cheaper sheds, which is often less than 2mm thick. Plastic glazing is far more likely to blow out in winds. It is only used because most outside carriers refuse to carry glass. The plastics commonly used as glazing for cheaper sheds include styrene, perspex, polycarbonate and acrylic.

LENGTH AND WIDTH: In the SIZES & PRICES chart the first dimension listed is the width and the second dimension is the length. The width refers to the angled gable wall. All sizes quoted are the external shed sizes unless stated otherwise.
