At most sites it is possible for the driver to deliver into the back garden unaided. Even if a product is too heavy for the driver to carry it far the lorries are equipped with trolleys for moving heavy items over hard surfaces such as concrete or tarmac.

You can select a delivery day when you order online or if you order by phone. Alternatively, you can order without specifying a day and request delivery later by phone or email.
NEXT DAY DELIVERY: Next day delivery is available at any mainland address in England and Wales and throughout southern and central Scotland. We deliver the next working day if requested before 12 noon. For example, to request delivery on Monday just contact us before 12 noon on Friday.
DELAYED DELIVERY: You can request a delivery day weeks in advance or you can wait to choose a delivery day later. We can deliver on any weekday of your choice, just contact us before 12 noon the day before.
AM DELIVERY - BEFORE NOON: Delivery before 12 noon is a low cost option at any mainland address in England and Wales and throughout southern and central Scotland, except in PA21-23 and PA35-36 postcodes. If your delivery is outside the specified time the charge will be fully refunded.

This shed is easy to deliver if access is restricted - all sections are designed to pass through a normal single door.
HEAVY DUTY CONSTRUCTION: As a very rough and ready rule, the more heavy duty a metal shed is the more the carton weighs. These sheds are at least 10% heavier than most similar metal sheds and up to 26% heavier than some others.
GALVANIZED STEEL: All framing and cladding used in the construction of this shed is hot dip galvanized steel. This is a process by which steel is coated with zinc to protect it from corrosion. The cladding is subsequently coated with epoxy resin, partly to protect the zinc coating itself and partly to add colour. The cladding is coated grey inside and green outside. The factory finish is similar to primer although a top coat is not normally needed. The combination of zinc and epoxy resin provides durable protection even if the surface is scratched.
LENGTH AND WIDTH: In the SIZES & PRICES chart the first dimension listed is the width and the second dimension is the length. The width refers to the angled gable wall. All sizes quoted are the external shed sizes unless stated otherwise.

NO FLOOR: This shed can be placed directly onto concrete, paving slabs or decking without a floor. If so the pre-drilled galvanized steel base rails should be fixed into the base. Screws are supplied with the shed which can be used if the base is timber. If the base is concrete or paving hammer fixings are available as a low cost option. There are two drawbacks with the no floor option which other suppliers rarely mention. First, it is not suitable for all storage purposes because many items such as lawnmowers and metal tools need a drier environment. Secondly, placing a metal shed or a metal floor or foundation kit directly on concrete or paving may invalidate your guarantee because even galvanized steel will rust if exposed to prolonged saturation in standing water.
CONCRETE HAMMER FIXINGS: The pack includes the correct number of hammer fixings to fix the pre-drilled base rails into concrete or paving. The fixings are drive in hammer screws with a nylon sleeve. A masonry drill bit is also included. Drive in hammer fixings are simple to use. First the hole is drilled and then the fixing is hammered home. If required the screw head allows easy removal with a screwdriver.
RECYCLED PLASTIC BASE AND FLOOR KITS: Our unique recycled plastic base and floor kits are lightweight and easy to install within a few minutes. The durable pavers are stronger and longer lasting than any timber floor and a practical alternative to concrete or paving slabs. The eco friendly plastic pavers are made from 100% recycled polypropylene. Extensive preparation is not normally required - just level the soil and lay the pavers on a thin layer of sand. Designed to spread weight, each paver is quickly clipped together with 12 separate locking points per paver to ensure maximum rigidity. Each paver is capable of supporting up to 2 tonnes. Each kit includes fixing down bolts and a drill bit to ensure that the shed can be securely bolted to the base. Unlike paving or concrete, these floors are self draining and fully relocatable. Unlike a wooden floor with exposed edges, these floors will last indefinitely and also provide a drier environment for storing valuable items. In addition, the plastic pavers ensure that no steel is in direct contact with the ground. Where space permits the base is normally laid full size but if required in a tight location the pavers can be easily cut to size with no loss of structural integrity.
