SPECIALIST DELIVERY SERVICE:- These garden sheds are normally delivered by the fitters in dedicated vehicles. This ensures less damage and no delay between delivery and fitting. Most cheaper garden sheds are delivered by national carriers who normally deliver to the kerbside only. Carriers cause more damage and normally refuse to carry glass or large panels. Their prices are based on weight and panel sizes. As a result, garden sheds delivered by outside carriers are made in small and flimsy lightweight sections with less wood. The benefits of our specialist delivery service include less damage, larger more rigid panels and heavier construction.

Everything possible is done to speed up installation and minimize problems on site. The doors are factory fitted complete with locks and handles. Even the glass and glazing beads are factory fitted. The result is better quality garden sheds which are fitted quickly with few complications. Features of these garden sheds include careful construction with high quality components and fewer problems.

THICKER CLADDING: A feature of these heavy duty sheds is thicker ex 3/4" cladding with a finished thickness of 15mm. The use of thinner cladding with a finished thickness of 12mm is almost universal throughout the industry. With 25% thicker boards these sheds are more substantial and longer lasting. These quality sheds also feature higher grades of timber than others with fewer dead knots.
HEAVY DUTY FLOOR: A substantial heavy duty floor is included as standard. It features 2" x 2" pressure treated bearers spaced close together for improved strength with 18mm thick tongued and grooved moisture resistant particle board, which is similar to the timber flooring used in housebuilding. The heavy duty floor is exceptionally strong and suitable for storing heavier items such as ride on mowers and large motorbikes where a considerable weight may be concentrated on one or two small points.
NO BEARERS REQUIRED: The floor joists are pressure treated so separate bearers are not required, which represents a saving on the overall cost. The floor joists are the only part of the shed which is in contact with the ground.
QUALITY CONSTRUCTION: A feature of these quality sheds is the superb joinery doors which are 44mm thick and similar to the doors found in many houses. A mortice lock is fitted as standard. The windows are also substantial and well made with joinery opening windows. The glazing is glass bedded on silicone and retained with glazing beads. Another feature is the substantial 2” x 2” framing spaced close together, which ensures a more robust and durable building.
LENGTH AND WIDTH: In the SIZES & PRICES chart the first dimension listed is the width and the second dimension is the length. The width refers to the angled gable wall. All sizes quoted are the external shed sizes unless stated otherwise.

This shed can be made in smaller sections if access restricted
RESTRICTED ACCESS: A quality feature of these sheds is that they are made in large rigid panels. If access is restricted, your shed can be specially made in smaller sections designed to pass through a normal single door. The smaller sections are designed to be at least as strong as the larger panels normally supplied. This option is not normally required for 6' wide buildings unless there are other obstructions. There is a charge for this option and notice is required with the order. For more details see "Other options".
